The Corporate Communications Manager is expected to build IFZA’s brand identify and online presence through the creation and dissemination of multimedia content online. The ideal candidate will be able to develop content strategies, manage a content team, grow an online community, and track that community’s growth, among other duties.
Main Responsibilities
- Delivering the overall content strategy aligned with the IFZA Messaging Matrix and corporate strategy
- Collaborating with marketing and design teams to ensure the IFZA brand Is appropriately communicated through various mediums
- Optimizing content according to SEO requirements (keywords)
- Analyzing website traffic, users’ engagement metrics, and reviews to investigate what is being discussed in the industry
- Staying up to date with developments and trends in the industry and generating new ideas to draw audience’s attention
- Curating content in various formats to amplify brand messages to broader audiences
- Developing an editorial calendar and ensuring content is delivered in a timely manner
- Providing editorial, creative, and technical support to team members
- Performing other job-related duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications and Experience
- Full English proficiency is required
- Additional spoken languages are a plus
- Excellent written / verbal communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g., MS Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with tight deadlines
- Creativity and ability to develop original content that provokes engagement
- Proven managerial and leadership skills
- Previous experience working in diverse organizations
- Good knowledge of target markets and competitors
- Tertiary education in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, or other relevant subjects
- Proven work experience as a Communications Manager or similar
