This is what IFZA set out to explore at InnoEX 2025 in Hong Kong, followed by an exclusive smart city immersion tour in Shenzhen’s Longgang District. As the Middle East regional lead for the Smart City Council (SCC), our mission was clear: forge meaningful connections, exchange global insights, and open pathways for Asian tech innovators to scale their smart city solutions in Dubai. Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 13–16, InnoEX 2025 brought together over 38,000 attendees and solidified its role as Asia’s powerhouse platform for cutting-edge technology, smart city innovations, and cross-border collaboration.
IFZA’s presence was strategic, focused on deepening ties with the region’s tech ecosystem and exploring opportunities in smart living, AI, and infrastructure development, all with the goal of enabling seamless expansion into the UAE’s most future-forward business landscape.

The event kicked off with a vibrant welcome reception on April 12, followed by four dynamic days of showcases, panels, and networking (April 13-16). From AI-powered infrastructure to urban mobility and sustainable tech, InnoEX spotlighted what’s next in urban living—and more importantly, how to get there.
Throughout the exhibition:

- Discussions centred around IoT, 5G, urban planning, low-carbon energy, and AI integration.
- The IFZA team engaged with entrepreneurs, tech leaders, and investors across Asia, exploring opportunities to connect their innovations with Dubai’s fast-evolving smart city infrastructure.
